About me, my family and other animals.
Dog ownership has played a big part in my family’s life. When I drummed up enough courage to ask my father in law for his daughter’s hand in marriage, some thirty years ago, his reply surprised me. Yes, I could marry his daughter on one condition, that I took the family’s dog too!
So we started off on life’s adventure altogether. Me, Denny, and Penny the dog. (Don’t get them mixed up).
Now Penny was fiercely protective of Denny. If we were playfully fighting or me chasing my new wife around the house to steal a kiss, Penny would misinterpret my actions and charge to my wife’s defence. Only when Denny convinced Penny I meant no harm would she allow me near her.
Many years later when the children had grown we started adopting retired greyhounds. Over the years there have been times when we could have done with a reliable dog walker. Someone we could trust to care for our much-loved greyhounds when we weren’t around.
That’s where I come in. After being well known in my local community as self-employed tradesmen, I wanted a new challenge.
So WalkDoggyDog was born.
If you need your dog walked, give me a call.
